Why Sutemi Gear?

Sutemi is a Japanese word from Aikido meaning "To throw your whole body into something."

This concept very much represents the spirit that we at Sutemi Gear aspire to when designing our products.

Also, the word seemed particularly appropriate given that our first product is a baby carrier -
a product that allows parents to "throw their whole bodies" into carrying their child.
